On Saturday 3rd December, Renee the Celebrant, Little Gold Tattoo studio and Lekhena Porter are offering you the trendiest way to get hitched with Flash Romantics. Get married and tattooed with a collection of film wedding photos to cherish, ‘til death do you part.

At Flash Romantics you can expect a wedding on the hour at Take Care’s glam wedding chapel in Brunswick. You can get legally hitched, make an unofficial declaration of love, renew your vows or have a polyamorous commitment ceremony.

This dream team provides the glitzi decor, an hour-long celebration, 30 professional film photos, flash tattoos for both lovers, a bottle of bubbly, and you can bring up to 20 guests. You even get to choose your favourite song to walk down the aisle to. Why not add a retro cake by Mali Bakes? After the ceremony, you head next door to Noisy Ritual for kick ons!

Flash Romantics Packages are $1999 + GST. For inquiries and to purchase your package, email sass@studiotakecare.com before 28 October 2022 to book in. Spaces are very limited.

Engaged but haven't got your shit together? Last minute, low key nups are the new normal! Forget the registry office and get legalised anywhere you want, with your favourite humans, doing it your way, for as little as $750!

You can get married in front of a fireplace at a pub, in a park, backyard, boat, hot-air balloon, Air BnB, cafe, restaurant, toilet, nightclub, grocery store, campsite... Seriously, ANYWHERE. Pick a place and date then HMU!

Book all of your alternative wedding vendors in one day...

Cocktails, tunes and the chance to meet the best non-traditional wedding vendors in the biz.

Here’s one for the romantics who are after something a little bit different for their special day – Lovecats is an alternative wedding expo (though it’s a bit more like a party) that’s coming to Melbourne next month.

Hosted by local photographer and frankie friend Em Jensen, Lovecats brings together the coolest wedding folk around (the likes of which include Bangin Hangins, Analog Modern and Renee the Celebrant). When you’re not chatting to florists, musos, photographers and celebrants about your wedding plans, you can enjoy all the other fun stuff the expo has to offer (burgers, booze, live music… you get the picture).

The festivities will kick off at the Old Lulie Tavern (which is located at the rear of 288 Johnston Street, Abbotsford) on June 5. Head this-a-way to snap up a ticket.
